A gravity arrangement needs an appropriate continuous downhill route. A sink or discharge point above the unit usually means you need a suitable condensate pump.
Do not infer the permitted vertical lift from the length of the supplied hose. Check both measurements and the hose-routing instructions for the exact model.
A pump is not an empty-by-hand bucket
The two compact AlorAir reference models in this tool publish pump and gravity drainage. They are not portable bucket-collection models. If emptying a removable bucket is your only option, choose a device designed for that workflow.
The finder identifies this mismatch instead of treating every type of water collection as interchangeable.
Leave room for maintenance
Keep the unit and drain accessible for the inspection and maintenance described in the manual. Confirm clearances and a suitable electrical outlet before installation.
